It’s that dreamy time of the year once again and we can totally feel all the love that is in the air! Valentine’s Day is just around the corner accompanied by romantic dinner dates, parties and traditional gift-giving. If you’re going out for a romantic date this coming February 14th, we’re here to suggest a few eye makeup looks using Anita Grant Hello Beautiful Eye Candy Mineral Eyeshadows that will make heads turn wherever you go and make him swoon all over you.
Sultry Eyes – A Touch of Sexy
He won’t be able to take his eyes off of you with this hypnotizing eye makeup from @makeupbymia. You’re going to love how a simple black, shimmery smokey eye look can give you that mysterious and alluring vibe. The objective of this eye makeup look is to make your eyes the focal point of your face so we suggest you pair this eye makeup with a flawless complexion and glossy nude lips to bring all the attention on your gaze. It will go perfectly with your LBD (little black dress) for a date night or Valentine’s Day party. Don’t be intimidated with how dramatic this eye makeup looks because the truth is, it’s really very easy to recreate. Here’s how:
1) After priming my lid I applied Anita Grant Hello Beautiful Eye Candy Mineral Eyeshadow in “Black Liquorice” pigment to my lid and then blended it upwards.
2) With a flat stiff concealer brush & a concealer, I sharpened the outer corner.
3) I applied a subtle brow and inner corner highlight.
4) With a small crease brush, I blended the “Black Liquorice” pigment along my lower lash line.
5) Using a flat eyeshadow brush and a glitter adhesive I applied a multicolored glitter to my lid.
6) Lastly, I lined my upper lash line, added mascara & then lashes.
Colorful Eyes – Pop Beauty
Valentine’s Day gives us the perfect opportunity to wear vibrant and colorful makeup looks. Simply take this fun eye makeup from @kulchicbeauty. The pink, yellow and brown elements of this look will bring our your flirty and playful side. It’s also a strong eye makeup look so it’s best to pair it up with a simple lip and bronzed complexion for a touch of elegance. It will go perfectly well dresses or separates with color-blocking color combinations. Here’s how you can recreate the look:
1.) Apply warm brown matte eyeshadow on the crease with blending brush – Anita Grant Hello Beautiful Mineral Eyeshadow in “Ginger Peach” on lid and Anita Grant Hello Beautiful Mineral Eyeshadow in “Mauve Parfait” to outer corners with flat shading brush & sweep eyeshadow across.
2.) Apply Anita Grant Hello Beautiful Mineral Eyeshadow in “Black Liquorice” to outer V of the eye, then a black kohl pencil to waterline.
3.) Add any matte black eyeshadow and “Mauve Parfait” to lower lash line and “Ginger Peach” to the inner corners. Blend the black matte eyeshadow to top lash-line.
4.) Apply False lashes & mascara
Neutral Eyes – Chic and Elegant
Nothing beats a neutral smoke eyes to take you from a day of hanging out with your girlfriends to a romantic dinner date with your partner on Valentine’s Day. This classic eye makeup look is very versatile and can be worn with both casual and formal outfits. For those who are not sure what clothes or shoes to wear on the most romantic day of the year, this is the look to pull off. @makeupbymia will walk you through the steps:
1.) I added a thin layer of a very light concealer to my lid all the way up to my brow bone then, with a large fluffy brush I applied a light matte brow shade to the crease and blended it upwards to the brow bone.
2.) With a flat stiff shader brush I packed Anita Grant Hello Beautiful Mineral Eyeshadow in “Mauve Parfait” onto my lid.
3.) Using a small blending brush I applied a brownish purply color to the crease, outer v, and lower lash line.
4.) With a small eyeshadow brush I applied Anita Grant Hello Beautiful Mineral Eyeshadow in “Coconut Milk” to the inner corner, blending it into the Mauve Parfait.
5.) I created a wing then lightly smudged out the outer half of the wing with a small smudger brush then applied my false lashes.
